So, when I first started to blog, I decided to focus on my knitting. Then I realized that there were MANY knitting blogs out there, so much that I chose to make this more of an all-pupose blog that occasionally mentions knitting. Like my attention isn’t diverted enough…
There is a knitting site called Ravelry, and I’d spend a lot of time on it a few years ago. It’s a virtual gathering place for knitting geeks like myself, where you can catalog all the yarn and needles you own, document your projects, look patterns up, and talk about non-knitting related stuff on their forums. I even thought that some knitting-related venture, in particular copywriting for knitting and yarn companies or blogging, would be my new career. But I realized I just like to knit, not write about it.
So I’m back on a knitting kick, trying to get my many projects (works in progress, or WIPs) finished and get a handle on my monstrous yarn stash. In the meantime, this is one of the projects I’m trying to get through.
It’s a scarf called Clapotis (don’t ask what it means), but it’s something that I’ve been trying to get done for, oh, three years or so now. Ridiculous, isn’t it??
