I’ll be going to San Francisco on Wednesday to the National Geographic Photography workshop. I’d be lying if I said I’m a little intimidated because there will likely be people there who are far more experienced photographers than I. Whether they are better, I can’t say, but I’m trying to avoid putting any negative “vibes” out there about my abilities. Whatever happens, I’ll be taking lots of pictures and hopefully, posting them right here each evening.
What’s great is that we’ll be staying in an apartment on Telegraph Hill, right under Coit Tower. Not only will the location be awesome, but we’ll have the comforts of home and won’t have to go out to eat every single night. It’s actually my preferred way to travel now, when we can do that.
RA is coming with me, and while he’s not going to the workshop, I’m hoping he’ll find enough to do in the big urban jungle that he sometimes feels uncomfortable in. I’ll suggest that he can go to Muir Woods, the coast down Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, maybe even Angel Island if he’s willing to shell out for the ferry.
Last Friday, I did go to the Downtown Aquarium, and luckily NL was able to see her favorite animal, the sea turtle
Not the greatest picture, but I think she will appreciate that I mentioned it here.
