Last week,I wrote in my “gratitude post” that I’d be writing every other week in this blog, as well as in the copywriting one. That’s still true, but I’d like to just share with you a few more things going on here in Schultze-Land. After all, I only wrote one post during this short month, so I figured before February makes its hasty exit, I’d write one more here.
- My website is going to have a new look in the coming month. It’ll have a more sophisticated design, with my photos on display more prominently. The blog will be on the home page, for easy access.
- Some of my definite upcoming travels will be to: Santa Fe (for a photo workshop, so there will actually be more photos on this blog) in April, New York and Washington, DC in June, Seattle in August, South Florida in October and somewhere in California at some point for the holidays (as always).
- There’s a small chance of returning to Las Vegas and St. George, Utah, also in October again to run the marathon I didn’t finish 1 1/2 years ago, and a remote possibility RAS and I will go to Belize or Costa Rica at the end of the year (I’d even be OK with the Riviera Maya in Mexico, even though I’ve been there before). So it’s not like I won’t be traveling at all. I guess this is The Year of Staying Mostly In-Country. But there will be a lot to write about.
- I’m writing a travel e-book, which may become a self-published book if I get enough information. So that’s where YOU come in.
If you can offer any kind of information about Denver and the surrounding area, I’d really like to know about it. The book will be called “Things to Do in Denver When…” provided that there aren’t any copyright infringement rules I’m breaking. You see, there was an Andy Garcia movie in the 1990’s called “Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead.” That’s not a very nice sentiment, or course, but I do like most of the title enough to steal from it.
So if you have an idea, please post it here. Pass along this call for help to friends, should they know something I can write about. Anything that has to do with activities, restaurants, events or points of interest around here, I’d love to put on my list and follow up.
And…if you or a friend do post below, I will random draw from all entries, and the lucky winner will get a $20 Amazon.com gift card.
That’s how serious I am, folks. So get posting, and I’ll see you in a couple of weeks
